DONOR RECOGNITION

This project will have a Wall of Honor on which donors will be recognized.

All contributions to the Mississippi River Eco Tourism Center will be publicly acknowledged unless the donor prefers to remain anonymous.  Gifts received will be recognized in accordance with their level of contribution.

A unique recognition system will be based on the environment which it helps to preserve.  There are several opportunities for donors to have particular areas of the eco center named for the industry, business, person, or organization they choose.

Item to be Named

Suggested Gift Amount

Aquarium/nature center

           $ 500,000

Community/banquet room

           $ 400,000

Education room

           $ 300,000

The aquarium/nature center is planned to be the centerpiece of the facility’s interior.  It will be prominent and very visible as people enter the eco center.  Signage for the contributing business or individual will be visible from each entry point to the building.  This will be a powerful advertising tool for the donor.

The community/banquet room and
the education room will have plaques over their entry doors honoring the donor and be titled “(Company/Individual name) Community Room” (or Education Room) as appropriate for each location.

These naming rights will be offered on a “first-come, first-served” basis
.
