DONOR RECOGNITION
This project will have a Wall of Honor on which donors will be
recognized.
All contributions to the
A unique recognition system will be based on the environment which
it helps to preserve. There are several
opportunities for donors to have particular areas of the eco center named for
the industry, business, person, or organization they choose.

The
aquarium/nature center is planned to be the centerpiece of the facility’s
interior. It will be prominent and
very visible as people enter the eco center. Signage for the contributing business
or individual will be visible from each entry point to the building. This will be a powerful advertising tool
for the donor.
The
community/banquet room and the
education room
will have plaques over their entry doors honoring the donor and be titled
“(Company/Individual name) Community Room” (or Education Room) as appropriate
for each location.
These
naming rights will be offered on a “first-come, first-served”
basis.
As stated earlier, a recognition system unique to the project will
be utilized in honoring donors. The

Face-to-face solicitations will take place before a
phonathon or direct mail appeal to the general populace. Every effort
will be made to provide an opportunity for all area citizens to
participate financially in supporting this community project before the
fundraising is completed. | ||||||||||||

Donors may choose to make their gifts in honor or
in memory of another person, in recognition of specific events or
accomplishments, or simply have their names on the selected medium. Donors will be given the
opportunity to specify how their gifts are recognized with a written form
that they complete after construction of the facility
